ALEXANDRE A. CARON "Eve Statuette" by an Art Nouveau sculptor, 1900s. Set of 2 photographs, period silver gelatin prints, mounted on cardboard with signed envelopes addressed to Mr. Corroyer (likely Edouard Corroyer, architect and collector). 23 x 15 cm (photos) and 30 x 24 cm (cardboard mounts). Holes in the corners of the cardboard mounts. Note: This lot retains the evocative power of the printed media that helped spread the ideas and images of their era. A prime piece to enrich a collection dedicated to 20th-century arts and documents.
