GUY-DAVID, Abstract painter (1911–1980), 1964. Vintage two-panel card, featuring an original illustration (mixed media, perhaps an enhanced engraving?) mounted on the inside back cover and a signed and dated message addressed to Georges Hugnet, on original glassine paper. 12 x 14.7 cm. Note: Linked to a poet and artist associated with Surrealism, this lot highlights the role of prints in the circulation and reception of artworks. A select piece to enrich a collection dedicated to 20th-century arts and documents.
