NEW SPRING STORES Charity Bazaar to benefit the Red Cross, 1924. Vintage souvenir album containing 24 photos: vintage silver gelatin prints mounted on card stock; photos (captioned) depicting most of the displays, wax figures (Siegel, Imans…), and paintings on themes such as childhood and safety… 24 x 32 cm (album) and 16.5 x 22 cm (photos). The album cover shows signs of wear, but this does not affect the contents. Note: This lot retains the evocative power of the printed materials that helped spread the ideas and images of their era. A fine piece to enrich a collection dedicated to 20th-century arts and documents.
