PIERRE PINONCELLI Painter and provocative artist (known for his happenings), an exhibition titled “Making Love in Beijing” at the Jacques Massol Gallery — Paris in 1966 and a performance by the “Théâtre sauvage” on the steps of the church in Coaraze in 1969. Two historical documents: an exhibition catalog (+ an invitation flyer), 16 pp. (plus cover), illustrated (some reproductions of works as vignettes), and a program, 28 pp. (plus cover), illustrated, with text by Pinoncelli and several press reviews. 10 x 14 cm to 27.5 x 19 cm. Note: This lot retains the evocative power of the printed materials that helped spread the ideas and images of their time.
