Set of two canes, 19th century: – one with a mahogany shaft and a brass pommel shaped like a setter’s head. L. 91 cm. – the other with a bamboo shaft; the metal pommel features damascene gilding depicting a bird among flowers, in the style of Toledo craftsmanship. L. 92 cm. Signs of wear and damage, notably a break in the knob of the second cane where it joins the shaft.
