Marbled calfskin of the period, spine with gilded floral raised bands featuring red and black title and volume number labels, red edges (slightly rubbed with some scuffs or scratches, spine slightly faded, minor missing from a few caps, a wormhole on the top cover of vol. II, corners somewhat worn). First edition illustrated by P.A. Kilian with 22 engravings (not including frontispiece): , portrait of Maria Theresa of Austria, Duchess of Luxembourg, 4 views of a mausoleum (vol. I), and 16 plates of seals and coins (vol. VI).
