Contemporary half red shagreen, signed J. Wright, percaline boards with gilt title, spine with raised bands, as-built (some rubbing). Second edition with explanations of the plates in this historical work on the Crimean War (1851–1856). Illustrated with all 81 double-tinted lithographs (including 2 frontispieces), some of which are colored in ochre and all protected by a silky-leaf (some with keys on the back).
