17TH-CENTURY PAINTER SAN GIOVANNINO Oil on oval canvas, 73 x 56 cm. Dated and signed on the reverse: ANS 1684 Gilded, lacquered, and carved wooden frame. CONDITION REPORT Old overpainting; a section left untouched reveals the artist’s initials and the date on the original canvas. Scattered, minute retouches are visible on the figure and the landscape.
