S. Hieronymus, S. Augustinus, S. Augustinus, S. Benedictus, S. Basilius, S. Bernardus, S. Bruno, S. Franciscus de Paula, S. Dominivus, S. Albertus, S. Franciscus, P. Ignatius de Loyola. Most of them (10) with the collection stamp from the collection of Duke of Arenberg (Lugt. 567) and a second stamp (Antwerp hand in a circle (Lugt.2794) . A scarce series engraved by Hieronymus Wierix after designs by Philips Galle. Complete sets are rarely encountered on the market, most impressions surviving as individual sheets. Here rare as a complete series in good condition and in early impressions, some of them first states before the number, from the famous collection of the Dukes of Arenberg. Dimensions: 12,40 x 16,00 cm each Condition: Good to superb impressions, complete with the engraved framing borders and, in places, narrow margins beyond the plate mark. A remarkably homogeneous set, distinguished by the quality of its impressions and its excellent state of preservation. Printed on thin hand-made laid paper, most sheets with a post horn watermark.
