Measurements: 45 cm (height with base); 22 cm (diameter). A pair of ornamental spheres made of burl wood, whose appeal lies in the richness of their grain, the warm hues of their color, and the uniqueness of their natural patterns. Made during the first half of the 20th century, both pieces evoke a taste for cabinet pieces and the decorative arts of an eclectic nature. They show minor restoration work; one of them has damage at the base.
