A light fixture that perfectly encapsulates the avant-garde spirit of the 1960s. Designed by Joan Antoni Blanc for the historic Spanish manufacturer Tramo, this double wall sconce is a clear testament to mid-century industrial design. The piece combines great functionality with clear inspiration from the iconic Space Age style, resulting in an object of extraordinary aesthetic value. The design stands out for its elegant interplay of material hallmarks. The structure is built around a central cylindrical wooden support, whose natural warmth serves as a firm architectural anchor. From this axis emerge two sinuous chrome-plated metal arms that support spherical shades in a pristine opal white finish. Each globe is visually embraced by a metal ring at its equator, a detail that accentuates its volume and lends it a distinctly futuristic character. In addition, the exposed black wiring adds a subtle industrial touch. When lit, the spheres act as masterful diffusers, casting a soft, enveloping ambient light.
