Mid-Century-style console table and bookshelf. Wood with a black lacquer finish and edges trimmed with grained wood. In good condition. Measurements: 100 x 151 x 35 cm. This console table and bookshelf stands out for its original stepped composition, in which the horizontal planes alternate at different heights, creating a dynamic interplay of volumes and open spaces. Its design, strongly inspired by architecture, reflects the aesthetic of Mid-Century furniture, combining functionality with a striking sculptural presence. The black lacquer finish is marked by warm-toned, distinctly grained wooden edges that outline the various surfaces. The vertical supports feature small horizontal wooden details that add rhythm to the overall design. Its open structure allows it to be used both as a display shelf and as a room divider, adapting to various interior spaces.
