GALLOTTI & RADICE. Design attributed to PAOLO PIVA (Adria, Italy, 1950–2017). Set of three wall sconces. Italy, 1970s. Glass and nickel-plated metal. Handcrafted. Wired for cable connection, 220–240 V. In good condition, with signs of wear consistent with their age and use. Measurements: 45 x 13 x 9.5 cm each. Set of three wall sconces by Gallotti & Radice, designed by Paolo Piva. Each unit combines three vertical elements of clear glass with a central metal support and two light sources, positioned at the top and bottom. The thickness and edges of the glass create reflections that enrich a composition of simple geometric lines. Paolo Piva was an Italian architect and designer trained in Venice, where he studied under Carlo Scarpa. He collaborated with firms such as B&B Italia, Poliform, Wittmann, and De Sede, and taught design in Vienna. Among his best-known creations is the Alanda table, which combines a geometric metal frame with a glass top.
