Rationalist sideboard. Switzerland, 1970s. Rio rosewood. Very well crafted. Measurements: 44 x 122 x 44 cm. The sideboard on offer reflects the principles of Rationalism through a refined geometric composition, structural clarity, and the integration of functional elements. Its horizontal proportions, smooth fronts, and the absence of protruding handles reinforce a design concept based on order and utility. Ornamentation is left to the natural grain of the Rio rosewood, which adds visual richness and warmth to an otherwise very understated design. The recessed base completes this pursuit of balance, lightening the overall presence of the piece. It forms a set with lot 40052260.
