Set of two fountain pens. One of them is a PARKER. One is a Parker “Classic” fountain pen, made of metal with a matte black finish and gold-tone accents; the second is made of black resin with silver-tone accents. The Parker features a textured grid-pattern grip section and a gold-plated metal nib; the second has a nib marked “Iridium Point Germany.” They show signs of use, particularly on the metal finishes and on the Parker’s nib. Measurements: 14 cm in length. Provenance: Estate of Ramon Martí Alsina and Ricard Martí Aguiló. Artistic and heritage collection originating in the legacy of Catalan painters Ramon Martí Alsina (1826–1894), a seminal figure of 19th-century Catalan Realism, and his son Ricard Martí Aguiló (1857–1935). Passed down and enriched across successive generations, the collection brings together works from the original holdings of both artists alongside acquisitions made by their descendants. Dedicated to preserving and recovering the family legacy, the descendants actively reacquired works by the painters as they entered the market, progressively expanding the collection to encompass paintings, sculptures, archaeological artifacts, and other items of artistic and historical significance. The Parker Classic continues the streamlined design developed by the company based on the 180 model, retaining its characteristic narrow barrel and distinctive triangular nib. This example features the understated black finish with gold accents typical of the series, a combination marketed by Parker since the second half of the 1980s.
