James Essex - Offices engraved by Inigo Barlow c1780. This architectural copperplate engraving titled Offices was originally drawn by the prominent English Gothic Revival architect and builder James Essex and engraved by Inigo Barlow. It illustrates the elevation of the functional outbuildings, or domestic offices for an estate designed by Essex in a restrained Gothic style. The print features a detailed two-story facade with gothic pointed arch windows, decorative label moldings, a castellated or battlemented parapet line, and a proportional scale rule visible beneath the ground level. Size: 30cm x 25cm The print is in excellent condition - please inspect the image carefully for any occasional age related marks.
