Circular 750°° yellow gold wristwatch. The bezel and case back are intricately engraved with foliage and floral motifs on a guilloché background. The back features a blank rocaille cartouche. White enamel dial adorned with black Arabic numerals surrounded by a gold pearl-style border; the hands are ornate and gilded in the Louis XVI style. Horse-head hallmark (stem, case, back, and case bottom). Jeweler’s hallmark: (“SG” and a key) for Société Générale Or, a manufacturer founded in 1880 that operated at 21 rue Gambetta in Besançon (traces of a service mark). Case and back numbered: “80599” The crown is adorned with a blue cabochon. Lug spurs likely made of gold (traces of soldering). Case dimensions: Height with lugs: 29.2 mm. Width with crown: 30.2 mm. Case diameter: 26.5 mm. Dial diameter: 23.2 mm. Weight: 14.38 grams. Not hallmarked. Enamel is chipped.
