David Herrliberger - Joachim Vadian 1748. This image features a portrait of Joachim Vadian (Joachim von Watt) , a Swiss humanist, physician, and mayor who died in 1551 . The portrait is a line engraving produced by David Herrliberger in Zurich in 1748 . Vadian was a close friend of the reformer Huldrych Zwingli and was both the mayor of St. Gallen and a scholar working in the medical field. Excellent condition - please review the images carefully
