MA Pictet - Engraving by Abraham Bouvier 1821. This 1821 printed engraving portrait of Marc-Auguste Pictet (1752–1825) , a Swiss naturalist and writer who was a professor of physics at the Geneva Academy . The original portrait was painted by Firmin Massot in 1809 and the engraving was done by Abraham Bouvier (A. Bouvier) in 1821. Pictet is particularly known for his experimental work in the fields of heat, meteorology, and astronomy. Excellent condition - please review the images carefully
