Reverse: “SAINT FERDINAND CHAPEL / DEDICATED TO OUR LADY / OF COMPASSION,” with the exergue: “ERECTED IN MEMORY / OF H.R.H. L.F.P., DUKE OF ORLEANS / PRINCE ROYAL / INAUGURATED ON JULY 11 / 1843.” Elevation of the Saint-Ferdinand Chapel (Notre-Dame-de-la-Compassion); in the field, on either side of the building, “BORREL” on the left and “1844” on the right.
