CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL RUSSIAN SILVER SUGAR BOWL IN CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL RUSSIA, MOSCOW, 1896-1908. A silver egg-shaped sugar bowl raised on elegant leaf-shaped feet, fitted with a movable handle decorated with enamel ornament. The body is covered with an elaborate cloisonné enamel composition featuring a polychrome vegetal design arranged in rhythmic arched vertical panels rising from the base toward the rim. The palette includes rich tones of cobalt, azure, turquoise, white, and red set against a gilded ground of filigree and granulation. The upper rim is accented with a band of light blue enamel dots, emphasizing the completeness of the silhouette.
