Biscontini, Ceramiche pesaresi dal XVIII al XX secolo, Pesaro-Bologna, 1986, fig. 68, p. 90: see also there for an analysis of the “rose” decoration, p. 87 passim); the scholar had further studied the decoration in 1978 (G. Biscontini Ugolini, “Further Clarifications on the Ochre Rose Decoration,” in *Rassegna di studi e notizie, Castello Sforzesco*, Milan, 1978, p. 133 passim).
