Tibet TIBET CHICK BILL The Last of the Bulls (Vol. 18), Le Lombard 1974 Original cover. Signed. India ink on paper 22.3 × 30.8 cm (8.78 × 12.13 in.) Starting in 1957, Tibet decided to bring in scriptwriters for *Chick Bill*, a series he had been creating on his own for over a decade. He chose the best of his time: Rosy, Goscinny, and Greg—no small feat. In the end, it was Greg who, before André-Paul Duchâteau, established himself as his most loyal collaborator, with an inexhaustible supply of ideas, even as he was preparing to take over as editor-in-chief of *Le Journal Tintin*. Under his leadership, the Chick Bill series reached its full maturity by refocusing the action on the comedic duo of Kid Ordinn and Dog Bull. In this volume, he gives Dog Bull Corsican origins… The duo stars on a striking cover, the kind Tibet knew so well how to design.
