1002 - Kingdom of Prussia, M 1871, polished blade with a wide fuller, manufacturer’s mark “E. WILHELM” at the pommel. SUHL, stamped 76 under a crown on the back of the blade, inspection mark B under a crown, curved crossguard stamped 140. R.R. 211., solid brass hilt, fluted on one side, with a pommel (functional); identical inspection marks are also present here; the hilt is fluted on one side; accompanied by a leather scabbard with brass plates; the mouth plate is stamped 175.R.E. 1.160., leather, belt loop, and mouthplate each bearing the hallmark D beneath a crown; the scabbard is slightly dented below the mouthplate; total length approx. 63 cm; second half of the 19th century.
