Rectangular coin purse with a curved top Made of brown leather with mother-of-pearl plaques carved with a romantic scene set in a landscape in the Renaissance style; the interior features compartments lined with red silk and opens via a hinged clasp with a push button. Mid-19th century. H. 1.5 x W. 7 x D. 5.2 cm. Provenance - Martial Lapeyre Collection (1904–1984). - Fondation Napoléon (Paris) following the bequest by Martial Lapeyre in 1984.
