Letter A.S. "L'Abbé FRAYSSINOUS". 2 pages in-8°. Undated (circa 1816): "The Religious Benedictines of the Calvary established at St Jacques N°252, Ancien presbytère, have bought a house in which they propose to follow their institute and devote themselves as formerly to the education of young people. Their former convent adjoined the Luxembourg; when the King, still only MONSIEUR, lived in this Palace, he adopted the chapel of these nuns as his own; he remembers this and said to me on this subject: "I want my former Sacristines to be housed". Particular Superior of this House, I have presented a placet to the King which is in the offices of Mr. le Comte de PRADEL".
