LEGO 854 – Go-Kart 1978 31.5 x 19 x 5.6 cm A sealed survivor from Technic’s earliest years, this 206-piece Go-Kart dates from 1978, when the line was still marketed in Europe as LEGO Technical Sets. Its working steering and wheel-driven single-cylinder engine showcase the mechanical concepts that would define the theme for decades.This was LEGO’s first Technic go-kart, bringing piston-engine construction—previously reserved for the much larger 853 Auto Chassis—into a smaller, more accessible model. Nearly half a century later, its historical significance and unopened condition make this set particularly appealing to collectors. Preserved in mint condition in its sealed box, it offers a compelling piece of early Technic history in its original presentation. New and sealed. May show minor signs of shelf wear.
