LEGO 10266 – NASA Apollo 11 Lunar Lander 2019 48 x 28 x 9 cm Developed in cooperation with NASA to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing, this 1,077-piece model with 2 minifigures recreates the Eagle on the lunar surface. Gold-colored landing gear, a crater, and a trail of astronaut footprints transform the spacecraft into a miniature scene from the historic 1969 mission. The separable stages tell a key part of that story: the Eagle’s lower section remained on the Moon, while its ascent stage carried Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin back toward the orbiting command module. That engineering detail gives the model significance beyond its distinctive appearance. Now discontinued, this anniversary edition makes a compelling companion to the Saturn V or a standalone tribute to humanity’s first lunar landing. New and sealed. May show minor signs of shelf wear. Box is slightly warped.
