Chansey ex #96 Holo, EX Ruby and Sapphire [ITA] 2003 Chansey ex 96/109 (illustrated by Ryo Ueda) is among the very first holographic cards ever printed and is now a true rarity on the collector’s market. Cards from this 2003 debut set are notoriously difficult to find in high condition due to the limited print run at the time and the delicate nature of the silver foil edge, which is prone to scratches and wear. Graded 8 NM-MT by AiGrading and housed in its shock-resistant hard case, this specimen boasts a perfect 10 on the front edges and excellent sub-grades for the corners and front centering, which attest to its excellent condition, making it a prized piece for first-generation collectors.
