TEHRAN RUG Cotton warp and weft, wool pile. The rug features a large, multi-lobed navy blue medallion, extended by two pendants on a red background, enhanced by an elegant, stylized floral design. Navy blue background. A red border with garlands of flowers is framed by two counter-borders. Central Persia, circa 1930–1970. 216 x 133 cm. (slight wear, slightly brittle).
