ISPAHAN RUG Silk warp and cotton weft, wool pile. The rug is adorned with a red, multi-lobed medallion, extended by two pendants against an ivory background. It is enhanced by a stylized floral design on a royal blue background. A wide red border featuring multicolored flowers is framed by four counter-borders.Finely knotted. Central Persia, 1930–1970 164 x 116 cm. (Finely knotted, slight wear). Expert: Alexandre Chevalier.
