NAÏN RUG Made of silk (silk warp, weft, and pile). The rug is adorned with a small, multi-lobed navy blue central medallion, extended by two pendants. Set against a red background with a stylized polychrome floral design. The entire composition is embellished with four sky-blue medallions. A wide navy blue border featuring garlands of flowers is framed by ten counter-borders. Central Persia, circa 1930–1970. 244 x 156 cm. Expert: Alexandre Chevalier.
