PORTICO CLOCK Made of chiseled and gilded bronze. On an oval base, the uprights—featuring busts of armed Egyptian women—support the case, which is adorned with eagles and laurel leaves. The white enamel dial displays the hours in Roman numerals. Hanging by a wire. Early 19th century. Height: 38.5 cm. Included is a matching globe with a wooden base decorated with inlaid palmette motifs. (Some wear to the gilding; shows signs of use; damage to the globe)
