CLOCK OF LOVE Made of bronze with a double patina, brown and gold. Set on a rectangular pedestal with two stepped levels, decorated with Greek frets and foliage. The base rests on baluster feet and is festooned with a laurel garland. It is topped by a circular finial flanked by two putti bearing coats of arms and surmounted by a trophy with doves. It holds the dial, which is white enamel and signed “L. Musson” in Paris. It displays the hours in Roman numerals and the five-minute intervals in Arabic numerals. Partly from the 18th century, composed of later elements. Hanging by a wire. Height: 38 cm - Width: 34 cm - Depth: 12.5 cm. (wear to the patina, one detached element, restorations, as is).
