Based on a work by Charles VALTON (1851–1918) Wounded Lioness Bronze with a golden-brown patina. Trace of a signature on the base. Height: 27 cm - Width: 45 cm - Depth: 14 cm. (signs of wear) Description: Based on the original bronze model, created for Parc Monceau in 1888 and lost in 1942 during the Occupation. A photographic print preserved in the Musée d’Orsay’s archives shows it in situ [Inv. No. 8021].
