IMPORTANT PORTICO CLOCK Made of white marble and chiseled bronze with a double patina—brown and gold. The stepped base, resting on flattened feet, is adorned with relief scenes depicting playful putti and the faces of Medusa. The side posts, featuring busts encased in gilded bronze caryatid appliqués, are topped by seated putti facing each other. The case, crowned by an eagle in the center, is adorned with an openwork motif featuring a trophy. It houses a white enamel dial displaying the hours in Arabic numerals. The movement is suspended by a wire. Late Louis XVI period. Height: 63 cm - Width: 48 cm - Depth: 12.5 cm (missing parts and restoration, added elements, damage to the glass, signs of wear)
