~ TOMBEAU CHEST OF DRAWERS Curved in shape, with an oak frame and rosewood and violetwood veneers, featuring inlaid decoration of butterfly wings set within recesses. It opens to reveal four drawers arranged in three rows. Louis XV period. Brass hardware with rocaille and foliage motifs on the side panels, lock plates, and drawer pulls. White breccia marble top (restored). Traces of hallmarks. Height: 84 cm - Width: 147 cm - Depth: 67 cm. (Damage and imperfections to the marble, missing sections, and restorations). Dalbergia spp. (II/B). Pre-Convention specimen.
