~ TOMBEAU CHEST OF DRAWERS Curved in shape, with a frame of oak and softwood, decorated with rosewood and violetwood veneer and inlaid with butterfly wings set within recesses. It features four drawers arranged in three rows. Partly from the Louis XV period. Gilded bronze hardware featuring rocaille, foliage, and interlaced motifs on the legs, lock plates, and pull handles. Top in red Pyrenean marble. Height: 83.5 cm - Width: 132 cm - Depth: 67 cm. (Marble chips and restorations; missing sections and restorations). Dalbergia spp. (I/B). Pre-Convention specimen.
