This chromolithograph is from Ornament of Textile Fabrics by Frederick Fischbach, Director of the Art Industrial School at St Gall, Switzerland. Published by Bernard Quaritch in London 1884. The plates concentrate on fifteenth to eighteenth century pattern tapestry, damask and brocade designs from France, Italy, and Germany. Paper Size: 17 x 12 inch (43 x 30cm) The plates are printed on textured paper and are in poor to good condition with bright and vibrant colours.
