Ex-voto. A model of a three-masted barque fitted for trade, displayed without sails. The hull is planked over frames. The topsides are painted black, and the underwater sections are painted red. The hull ornamentation and the gunwale are gold in color. The standing and running rigging are tarred. The shrouds feature swivels. It rests on its original carved and gilded pine stand. One of the legs, facing the “faithful,” is topped with a lion’s paw. Circa 1860; most likely of Venetian origin, as seems to be confirmed by the prominent lion’s paw.
