132 - Lifshitz Sebastien Amateur - A collection of found photographs from Sebastien Lifshitz. Steidl, 2016. Sebastien Lifshitz (born January 22, 1968 in Paris) is a French film director and screenwriter. 1st edition. Set of 4 books, entirely made from amateur photographs from the director's collection. Collected from the four corners of the globe, from flea markets to garage sales, from the Internet to galleries, the photographs in this boxed set have been assembled according to four themes: the strange, deserted places, the blurred and the beach. Each book creates a formal narrative around one of these recurring motifs, playing with variations in frame, light, movement and subject to form an immense poetic collage. Brand new, in original shrink-wrap.
