119 - Erik Kessels, *Mother Nature*. Following up on *Album Beauty*, Erik Kessels presents a new book drawn from his own collection of photographs. For *Mother Nature*, he has compiled photographs of women posing in front of flower-filled spaces: flower beds in public parks, private gardens, fields... From this universal theme—which he identified among the found photographs—a interplay of repetition and difference emerges, weaving a common narrative thread. The book takes us from one place, one time, one generation, and one culture to another, and these individual stories and unfamiliar faces come together to form a whole that reveals our shared and enduring practices.
