The date of the exhibition: April - May 1935, and the venue: Julien Lévy Gallery, New York. This discovery led to the reconstruction of the exhibition. This book brings together these prints for the first time since 1935, and presents the early work of three great masters of photography. Text in English and French. Published in 2004 by Steidl to coincide with the exhibition at the Fondation H. Cartier Bresson. The book is bound in new, original shrink-wrapped paper.
