E 900), circa 1950, cream shantung; top with a dress-like effect featuring straps worn over a finely pleated sweetheart-neckline bustier; the sunburst-pleated skirt is worn with a crayfish-tail overskirt covering the back (one small stain in a pleat). Matching short jacket with long sleeves gathered at the cuffs, size 36 approximately.
