ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MODERN ILLUSTRATED BOOKS: First illustrated edition, adorned with 4 original etchings and 30 woodcuts in the text by Auguste Lepère. ONE OF THE 20 COPIES ON ARCHES PAPER, numbered and SIGNED BY HUYSMANS, for the LES XX Society, containing two covers and a set on China paper of all the illustrations, to which is attached, as loose sheets, under an illustrated cover, a set of 12 additional etchings (including a frontispiece) on Holland paper, depicting the Bièvre River and the Saint-Séverin neighborhood, of which only 80 copies were printed, all signed in pencil by the artist.
