Peyo Alban Ficat. The Smurfs. The Vintage Smurf (2023). Polychrome resin sculpture created by Leblon-Delienne exclusively for Bulles en Boîte. The first piece in the Smurfs’ 65th Anniversary trilogy. Comes with one of five autographed drawings by Miguel Diaz, randomly included in the boxes! Height: 25 cm. Limited edition of 65 pieces. Comes with box and certificate. Mint condition. “A Smurf as tall as three apples, as Peyo used to say, which we decided to have produced by Leblon-Delienne entirely in France, with the usual characteristics of my sculptures: statues cut into several pieces, according to color, to allow for maximum, clean, and flawless brush application of paint. It was based on a drawing Peyo had made for latex toy designs; I thought it was really fun to reproduce it very faithfully in the form of a resin statue. It’s kind of the Smurf I dreamed of having when I was a kid.” Alban Ficat
