Sainte Radegonde Workshops Ball Vase Ceramic "Catherine" model dating from the mid-20th century, circa 1940–1950 H24.5 cm This masterpiece comes from the famous Sainte-Radegonde workshops in Tours, renowned for their close collaboration with the Primavera art studio at the Printemps Esthétique & Design department store. The spherical body features a deep, vibrant glaze with speckled and mottled turquoise-green hues and is topped by a bold, sculptural design entirely glazed in white: an imposing openwork collar shaped like coils (often called “bigoudis”) extends elegantly down the body in a sinuous, raised twist. A striking contrast of color and texture, typical of the most sought-after creations.
