Clément Brazille Vacuum Vase Glazed ceramic Vacuum series, limited to 50 pieces Date of creation: 2019 H38 L27 P27 cm The Vacuum series was born from an experiment: sealing objects—chosen for the richness of their forms—in a vacuum, then casting them into enigmatic ceramic forms. Through this series, Clément Brazille explores the plastic qualities of form and its imprint. The double-walled stoneware allows for pieces that are both functional and lightweight, while the variety of glazes and finishes makes each of the fifty pieces unique. A vase that explores the relationship between the object and its imprint, between the full and the empty.
