Based on a design by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld Based on the “Red and Blue” model designed in 1918 Chair Painted wood H90 W66 D100 cm The seat and backrest are supported by an assembly of straight crossbars and uprights. In this monochrome version from the 1980s, the geometric structure is presented without the red and blue colors associated with the model since its evolution in the 1920s. This composition is emblematic of Rietveld’s explorations and the De Stijl movement.
