Binding signed VERMOREL. Paris: Emile-Paul, 1927. A very fine and valuable copy of the FIRST EDITION, enhanced 1° by an “E.A.S.” (Author’s Signed Copy) from the author to one of his close collaborators - 2° a caricature depicting the President of the Union of Conservators, drawn by Tardieu on an envelope bearing the letterhead of the Chamber of Deputies during a session - 3° a handwritten letter from the author to his collaborator - 4° a photograph of Tardieu. Some foxing on the edges, otherwise a VERY NICE COPY. André TARDIEU was a deputy and led three governments between 1929 and 1932. He was a great admirer of the United States.
